Chanel No. 5 is perhaps the best perfume known and sold worldwide, crowned fashion house Chanel and its designer, Coco Chanel in the market for floral perfumes. The first perfume from the fashion designer remains from its beginnings to present with a slightly different image and smell, but without losing the essence of the product itself. It was created in 1921 by Ernest Beaux.

Ernest Beaux Chanel introduced a series of numbered samples. Coco chose No. 5 (that’s why it’s called like that), containing aldehyde and scents of bitter orange blossom, jasmine, rose, sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver, among others.

Carole Bouquet, Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, Audrey Tautou and Marilyn Monroe were among the famous women who wore this perfume.
